The farrier, Doug, came later in the day yesterday. His father died Saturday. His dad had a donkey. It must've known he was going to die. As soon as he was put in a hospice, the donkey stopped eating and died 24hrs after his Dad's death. How sad....Sadie and Star were good girls. Sadie had to make it a point to spend time with Doug, his 2 nieces and his son. She loved the company. Doug said she's a good people horse. After they left, I let her and Star out of the corral. Sadie ran and played and even did her version of a dance. She made me laugh. She's so good for me....Remembering Barbara(Shawnie, Sugar Babe and Dixie). Such a sad loss. She was a beautiful, sweet lady. I'm going to miss her. Hugs and a vote
