I am so sorry to lose another great, caring, loving friend. Only days ago she mentioned her weight loss and doctor's concern, I was afraid regarding her physical state. I am kind of at a loss for words her during my own sadness, just knowing I will miss Barbara's blogs and emails so much. Her kind and gentle presence will always be with me.

We left a vote for you today.
Thanks for the great responses to our yesterday's blog. I have enjoyed mares and geldings. My first horse was a mare and she had me thinking, no more mares, because she was just plain stubborn to have her way at times! She was never mareish from her heat cycle. She wanted to be the boss of everything and first for everything, riding or walking! She was fun if you wanted to be competitive all the time. But I was ready to slow it down and take it easy. My next horse was her son, he was my first gelding. So I never formed a negative opinion on geldings and Fancy has taught me that mares are sweet and gentle too.

Have a blessed day:)
