Hi I'm glad you got to watch some reining videos. No, reining is not always bideless, only on higher level competitions, I have did brideless reining a little bit, but it takes a lot of work. Freestyle reining is probably one of my favorites, because you can dress up with your horse and rein to a song and you get to make up your own reining pattern. It is very fun. Where have you shown before? I have shown at our county fair, at some NRHA shows and some CORHA ( Central Ohio Reining Horse Association). I have taken english riding lesson before and actually thought that was so much harder than reining. Megan
