How she is doing now:
Miss Suzie was very anxious when she first arrived. She had been foundered not too long before I had gotten her. The morning after she arrived home, my trusted vet arrived to update her on her shots, deworming and give her the twice over. She was in good health, save for her feet. My farrier is WONDERFUL at getting good feet back under a sore horse. Suzie Q has been with us for 6 months and she is doing BEAUTIFULLY albeit a little fat. She gets very little grain supliment, but has ready access to hay and a mineral block. She is a VERY sweet little gal and she tries to do what I ask even when she is leery. Both Suzie and Sari have VERY friendly eyes - they want to please, but dont quite know how. They both now winny when we come out to feed them and they look forward to the attention that they get: brushing, feeding, treating, and just in general petting. I am SO HAPPY that they are part of our herd! Or should I say that we are part of theirs?!?!
