No problem:)

Well, I never got to lounge Mav yesterday. At about noon, it started snowing. And it was windy. The snow was wet, so the horse's backs were soaking, and the wind was driving the wetness into their skin while the icy-wet needles of snow stabbed them. Litteraly. Dandy and Zelda, (my Aunt's horse) had some shelter; they could get out of the wind and the majority of the snow. Dandy wasn't shivering, so I didn't blanket him. Dandy is a trooper, and I knew he'd be alright if he had shelter. So, I found a place for him where it was sheltered - 80% and then gave him TONS of hay. (So that he could munch all night and produce heat for his body all night long.) Zelda was pretty comfy when I left, too. Now, Mav and Charlie have absoultly NO protection from ANYTHING. They are exposed the the bare elements. Despite their diet, I gave them aplenty. Then they too, could munch for a couple hours.
So, this is after the storm, and this morning, all of the horses were fine. Dandy wasn't CLOSE to shivering. Good.
So, I'm hoping to lounge today. Oh, and btw, we got 6 more inches of snow. That all adds up to 3 feet. I can't wait for spring!!!
