hi wendy and luck y owner!!!

I BELIEVE...God can do amazing things.

cantering by with a 60 degrees-but-windy-day vote for a friend!!!

i jumped sweet pea today a little, actually over only one jump. the rest of the time was warming her up and trying to get her to settle :~( then i was getting fed up, i had a headache, so i decided to skip jumping for today. i cantered up the road and in the field lane, once i the field lane i let her have her head, then at the end we turned around. she bolted, but i easily stopped her and we walked gently in the rest of the way.

then i worked with flicka. actually, i didn't get out of the corral. i was waiting for a friend to go riding with, so i left Sweet Pea's saddle on and just took her bridle off. My friend Sharon had given me two large rings and a surcingle type of thing, so i was measuring and adjusting that so it fits. then when my friend came, i went for an hour, mostly walking with her!

I NEED ADVICE......WHEN SWEET PEA CANTERS SHE GETS STIFF AND WON'T SOFTEN HER JAW. I HAVE CONTROL, BUT SHE'S ALWAYS TRYING TO GO FASTER AND IT'S REALLY BOUNCY. I'M REALLY FED UP. I'D TAKE HER FOR A LESSON, BUT WE DON'T HAVE A TRAILER AND MY PARENTS WON'T BORROW ONE. ANY ADVICE ON HOW TO GET A SOFT, COLLECTED CANTER W/O TRYING TO CONSTANTLY SPEED UP?!!? thanks SO much for all your help!!
