she should be able to trot over a one foot high jump with no problems but not in your uneven pasture. you want a nice flat area with decent footing. first try walking and trotting over a ground pole before you jump. has she ever jumped before? alot of trail horses have to jump over logs on the path. camp horses sometimes jump for games. it would be easier if she's done it before.
