“It is not enough for a man to learn how to ride; he must learn how to fall” (Mexican Proverb)

I was watching Fancy graze yesterday and I thought about one of my previous horses. The horse would pull against every thing you tied it to. It pulled a tractor, a huge farm trailer, and other things. I learned many lessons about horse tying during my ownership of this horse. LOL. I learned to tie high and not tooo long. This made me wonder just how much pressure can be put on those small halter rings that we clip our lead ropes to before they give in and break. I have not seen one break or split so far. But I have seen one bend a little. Have you ever seen one break or split?
