Love to hear happy rescue stories
I can relate to your story with him, my gleding Obie was neglected by his owners and was also beaten up by the other horses,he really had it rough, but it will always amaze me he was able to get over his trust issues and is a very loving horse, funny how things change, where we board him, he is now the ony Rooster in the hen house, and he is a leader with all the Mares and they love him (although I know he doesn't get it),but when we go for our walks, they sure do keep an eye on their man, it is funny to watch. But he is so patient with them, never any ugly faces or ears back
