I know right, long thick manes are so pretty! I read somewhere that washing your horse's mane and tail twice a week (but JUST the mane and tail, not the whole body) can help them grow long and thick and pretty. Also, you're just basically supposed to brush their mane and tail with your fingers... using a comb can break the hairs and make it look yucky :( But once you can run your fingers through without getting any tangles, I guess then you can use a comb, though I don't see the point, LOL. I don't really use any special products, just fly spray and mane detangler and this stuff to put on Lady's hooves to make them healthier. Her and Beau have hooves that crack really easy. When I put the stuff on Lady's hooves they turn black as night, it's so weird! Haha.

Have any fun plans today? I'm going out to the horse rescue (hopefully) tomorrow and then again on Thursday to work with the city mission kids for the last time. I still haven't decided if I want to take my friend's horse, she is SO beautiful but I'm not sure if I can afford it or complete all of her training. I've been praying about it though, and asking lots of horsey people what they think, so that should help ;)

xoxo Katie
