Here's a vote to brighten your Monday!
I am jealous that you are learning dressage; that is pretty much my dream. However, I've only ridden Luna with a bitless bridle, and I don't know how I would ride on contact that way. I guess it's time to introduce her to the bit LOL!
(BTW, riding bareback from the barn to the pasture TOTALLY counts!)
I just have one horse but I board her at a stable with many others. I can always find someone to ride with. Plus it's only 10 minutes away from my home so I see Luna every day. (My husband doesn't know it yet, but I'm planning on buying a second horse in Spring hahaha!)

Next month I'll have had Luna for a year, and I can't believe how far we've come. She's always been a good, solid, mellow horse, but she was pretty much a follower and just wanted to do whatever the other horses on the trail ride were doing. But now, a year later, we are becoming a real team. She responds great to leg aids, she is free lunging well with just body language signals, and we are currently working on making clean, tight circles in the arena. Not bad for a mare who is only ridden bitless! I am very proud of both our progress, and she is such a delight to own! I know, I'm bragging a bit, but I am real proud of her LOL.

I left you a vote!
