Day 5 First time in the Arena with another horse (lunging), He was being an jerkwad (I'm keeping it PG, my words were a little stronger) be pulling me around. So I essentially went dirt skiing today. I ended up pulling him in close and making him move his feet (clinton andersons method) and he wasn't happy to say the least but after about a half an hour (changing directions many times) I decided he had figured it out at asked him to halt. The look on his face was "Holy Crud, I better not cross her again!" Tried an english saddle on him, he seems to almost like it a little better and he looks good because he isn't the big beefy western Quarter Horse so the western saddle looks huge on him! So I officially own a nice English Saddle! Lets see what tomorrow brings!
