Day 12
Poor Baby! He has in total 21 cuts on him from one horse! (We moved Twister to the other pasture) I felt really bad because we had to clean the one right above his hoof and we could tell it hurt.
Injuries didn't hurt him enough to the point where he couldnt run/work. Someone had brought a noisy stock trailer to the barn and was loading up his 4 horses. Sidekick was kinda on edge but I didn't pay much attention, but when the trailer started moving a made a really loud noise he decided he wanted to be nowhere near it and took off. The halter was around his neck (I was trying his new bridal on) and I was working on attatching the reins when he moved and of course I didn't let go, instead I jogged next to him and slowed him down. In the mean time my friend went to undo the quick release on the cross tie but she didn't move fast enough and the crosstie snapped.
