☆ CONGRATS ON PAULA AND PETITE FLUER FOR WINNING A MUCH-DESERVED HOTM. WE LOVE YOU!!!!!! ☆

**And congrats to Jesse, our HOTD winner!!!**

Hello, fellow horse lover!!! I was so surprised when I saw an email from HC this morning. I had won HOTD on Saturday. But, too bad, I was offline!!! Thanks so much for voting for me, even though you weren’t trying to get me HOTD, it still means a lot.

How was your weekend? I hope it was a good, horse-filled one!! Mine was pretty horse filled!!
On Saturday I rode for an hour with my neighbor and friend, Andrea. She owns a 3 year old Paint gelding, Twist. We didn’t run at all, so after we came home, I galloped Sweet Pea up the field lane and around the meadow a little.
On Sunday I rode with Andrea’s sister, Cheri, and her chestnut, 6 yo mare, Autumn. We went for about 1 1/2 hours. It was a lot of fun!! I ponied Flicka, and she did absolutely perfect!! She really enjoys it, and it’s a great way to get both horses exercised at one time.
Today (Mon) I did groundwork with both Flicka and Sweet Pea. With Flicka, I worked with staying out of my space, putting her head down, going over and around poles, and a new thing; ground tying. She was really great with that. Then I got her to stand (by putting my hand on her forehead and saying HO) and I walked away and got her to come to me. She’s so sweet and willing!!
With Sweet Pea, I did pretty much the same thing. Sweet Pea has a little problem of thinking “I don’t need to follow you, I’ll just b-a-r-e-l-y come W-A-Y behind you”. Well, I tried to teach her to follow right at my shoulder.

Hope you have a wonderful Monday :~)

And to those who asked; yes, GREAT EXPECTATIONS did meet my expectations, it was GREAT!! I watched the oldest version, I think it’s 1964 or 1946. It was black and white.

I love you all......
Happy Trails!!
Andrea and Sweet Pea, Flicka, and Acorn
