hello and thx for the vote..we voted for you too!!
Pretty mare! So how do you keep the horses head lowered? My Thirty Six does at the jog and lope (usually) even in turnout he will, but a lot of times I tell him to get his head down (which he will....for a bit). How do you keep it there? I trained my horses on voice commands as well as cues. Walk on for walk, let's trot for trot, gallop for jog/canter, easy to transition down (say from canter to trot), and whoa...well you know that one! And all is good but when riding western, I can't KEEP his head down unless I remind him verbally or by touching the top of his neck. We've only been trained for racing but very willing, just a bit confused. Any suggestions?
