Today it was nice and warm and most of the snow is all gone for now. While I was doing morning chores the cow herd came home and invaded the bale yard. You do not want cattle in with your bales or they can make it a total disaster. Gazelle is in the pen right beside the bale yard, so I quickly caught her. Didn't have time to saddle up to get those cows out of the hay. The cattle did not want to leave and kept circling the bales and then took off down the rode. Gazelle and I had to run past them and turn them around. This is the first time Gazelle has loped bareback without bucking. The cows finally decided to go the right direction and head back to their pasture. It looks like the gates were left open, probably by hunters. Gazelle was awesome as usual. I was in alot of pain as I think I may have cracked a rib a couple days ago. Did a bunch of ground work with the other horses for the rest of the day.
Heres a vote for the beautiful Ginger.
