congradulations, i always wanted a horse so when my mother and my older sister started dropping "accidental" hints at getting me one i was on edge exited but knowing that from the prices of horses and how much most people pay for owning a horse i was discouraged. but when i got home and there was and unfamiliar horse standing in our pasture. my grandma had bought me a horse the best part was that instead of getting a $5000 horse my grandma had gotten me a cheap horse for $30 but i was very lucky and she was completely healthy hosre and she was a young yearling, but then our first problems arrived when she decided that she would be territorial about her food and then my mom called a farrier and she tried biting kicking, anything to stay away from them (i was at school) but we have not trimmed her feet since we bought her and her feet look better than the neighbor's horses that got trimmed a few months ago so we decided that she is definately part mustang and she is smart, fast learning, and very territorial, i have no fear of her being stolen but she does and up stealing the neighbor's horses sometimes. but since three weeks ago i have started rideing her and she doesn't buck or bite anymore(she has never bucked only kicked) i feel very accomplished because i can ride her almost better than my 12yr. old that i won in a raffle through FFA. i can't wait until summer and i can really get to training her
