Hey all, so sorry for my absence on HC. The VUHS musical 2012, White Christmas, was great, but kept me so busy that I couldn’t blog!! I love you all and would be absolutely devasted if I couldn’t talk to you guys. If anything happens and I can’t use HC anymore, my email is ! Koko is doing great, we took a nice trail ride to celebrate one of the last nice days of the fall before it gets really cold. I’ll try to get some pictures of us riding tomorrow for our Veterans Day ride all over HC! So….

Here’s the big plans for Koko and I- we are officially starting our Western training. We’ll be getting lessons on that from Judy Nason, and our huntseat lessons from Eileen Mulderry, and I’ll be driving this winter with my friend Aya and taking lessons from Jeff Morse!! Koko and I will be headed to Vermont Morgan Heritage Days and to Mass Morgan this year! We’ll be in Training/First level dressage, Novice Horse or Novice Rider and Western Junior Exhibitor!! Zi’m sso excited!!

Song is doing well, I just talked to Sally (her owner) to update her, and she’s really glad Song is doing well!

Here’s a quote from Janet, the barn manager and one of my trainers,

“Riding is divided in to 2 sections- the divisions of Labor and Management. The rider is management, and the horse is Labor. No Unions here!!”
That’s posted on the arena wall!

Question of the Day:

Does your horse know any tricks? Would you consider doing trick training with him/her?

Koko bows and comes when I whistle, but other than that, she’s not really trick trained!
