thanks for the explanation about the vest. i hope she is able to conquer her fear and control her horse. sadly, many times it just gets worse. i had a child rider whose mom bought her a vest due to her fears. she never really got over it though she rode for about a year. they got an exxmor pony and bred her instead of riding. michael is still active though it's classified in a strange way meaning he would only get called for a world war situation. he's finished in 2013.
