Hi Dakota
November 22
HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all my American friends. I pray that all of you have a safe, blessed day with lots of food, fun and family.
It was very heart warming to read through the many blogs from all of you, telling what you are most thankful for. Today, on this day of thankfulness, we need to take time to give thanks for all we in North America are able to have. Remember the birdies around the World who live in threatened fear of extinction. Remember all those, who this day live in darkness, hungry, thirsty, hurt and alone, and ask that someone comes to their rescue.
As many as had written to me, you all were thankful for your homes, the wonderful, loving, caring parronts that you have, for the clean cages, the filled water bowls, and the food. Lots of healthy food in your bowl daily. Some were thankful also for their health, for someone who was there to nurture them when they were ill, to hold them close.
Over this past year we have lost many fiends on BC. Gone before us to the Rainbow Bridge. I know that myself, I am thankful for the honor to have known each of them, even if briefly. We can be thankful that when the time come, we will all be reunited, never to part. There will be no more sickness, no more pain, no death.
Every birdie shared there deep thankfulness for each other in their flocks, and here, on Bird Channel. It is by far more then a simple web site, it is a family who love for, care for and are there for one another.
Today, as I reflect on thankfulness I am very thankful that I went through all I did at the man's of others. I wish it on one birdie, BUT it has made me more compassionate, able to reach out to those in need. I am thankful I survived even when the Vet said she didn't know how I did. I am thankful for my Momma Deb, her love, her devotion not just to me, but to all birds, and her desire to help those she can.
I am thankful for my adopted BC family, Ms Chirps, Spot, Charlie, Zip and Wilberforce and Peekaboo. I am very blessed and thankful for the love and friendship of Miss Big Baby.
Above all I am thankful to have met all of you. I truly love you and pray daily for your well being and safety. I have enjoyed this month running for BOTM but know whether I make it into the castle or not, " I WON" I have met wonderful friends, and shared a most necessary subject. If any birdie decides to help in some way, I have everything to be thankful for.
with my heart filled with love,
a very thankful SKY-224183
