HI, left a vote. Yesterday was a lot of fun. Logan is really getting fuzzy! I took him down to the barn arena to let him roll, and run around, then I was going to work him. Well, they were putting up a portable cover to put the tractor under when it rains, next to the arena. This of course, would spook Logan off an on! I had to work him first, then I let him go, and he ran, bucked, reared, and ran some more. This went on a good 20 minutes. I then worked him at a trot, for just a little bit, wanted to make sure he was listening to me. Back to the barn, groomed, tacked up, ready to go. BY this point he is really sweaty, and I haven't been on him yet!!! We got down to the fairgrounds, and he acted like he had never been there before. This is where we team penn. He wouldn't go near the signs, the one corner he doesn't like, don't know why, the other side has the fire hose wrapped in and out of the fencing, and garbage cans! Usually it will take him about 10 minutes to relax, and he is ok with all of it. Not yesterday, so we did wall work, after about half an hour of walk work on all the walls, I got him to finally trot next to the walls and all corners without issue! We cantered, no problem! Rode with three of my friends, had a lot of fun! Logan gets his feet done today.
