I've owned Wendy since April 2012. And before I bought her, she was very laid back and boring because she was a normal Lesson Horse. But once I bought her, she was still the same, old boring horse that didn't care about anything... The first week Wendy was aggressive! She'd bite everyone, and kick other horses. She supposedly came from a show barn that abused her. So she had no confinence... Each time I rode Wendy the first few weeks, she'd throw her head up and not listen to me. One day I was bringing her out of the pasture, and once I opened the gate, she turned and I had the leadrope and got trampled. Once I got up, my two fingers were broken and I watched her gallop away. I had enough of this bad behavior, she I moved her to another stable where the trainer did Horsemanship. The day I brought her there, she didn't bite ever again. She also quit kicking other horses. I started Trick Training her, first she learned to bow, then to lie down, sit down, rear, play dead, and act drunk. Today, it's like she never did anything bad!
