Happy New Year!!!!!
It's great to hear that you got another horse! Did you get him for Christmas?

About a week ago a farrier came to trim our horses feet and he trimmed them too short, so Hardy had really sore feet. Brenna was fine but Hardy was lying down and refused to get up. At first we didn't realize that the reason why he was lying down was because of his sore feet. We thought he may have been getting Laminitis again, or possibly collicing. Eventually we got him up and walked him around and he was walking quite stiffly. Then he started tooting so we knew that he wasn't collicing and eventually we found out that his feet were sore, after we put his blanket on him by feeling for any swoolen parts of his legs. He usually runs away when we pull his blanket out (I don't know why) but his feet were so sore that he didn't want to run. After we pulled it out he wanted it back almost instantly. I'm going to upload a picture of me sitting on Hardy that day.

Whinnies and Nickers,

Bum and Brat
