Dakota is doing good now, it was pretty much just the first day without Scout that was the hardest for him. It seems like horses get over things a lot faster than humans do. Yesterday I rode Misty and ponied Sierra for a while, they did pretty good. I am worried about Sierra because lately she keeps on getting out of the pasture. A couple days ago my aunt looked out her bedroom window and Sierra was in the back yard eating birdseed out of the birdfeeder. She is easy to catch so its not hard to get her back in but we saw her tracks in the ditch where she had been running up and down beside the road. I went around their pasture and tightened everything up but she just plain isn't scared of wire and will ram right into it. Yesterday my dad hooked the electric to it so hopefully that will keep her in. Lately we have had temps in the 30s and a couple times even in the 40s. Last night we got rain so now everything is all sloppy. It is supposed to get cold again next week so then we will have a nice icy mess. Today is kind of a sad day for me because today a week ago I rode Scout for the last time. That was such a great day, I worked with all 4 of the horses and had so much fun. The thought never crossed my mind that it might be the last time I would ever ride him.
I am leaving a vote, hope you are doing well.
