-Me and 8 other people (Sharon and Abby-she owns a OTTB-and 5 guys and another girl that owns a TW) went down to the MD Horse World Expo. We go every year, but with different people usually ;) This was my third time. We were there from 9 am to 7 pm, and with a whole hour to drive each way, it was a long (and FUN) day.
Me and Alta (owns Jack, black TW-she's 13) were by ourselves the whole time.
We saw-
Brendan Wise-Leading and Ground Manners
Scott Purdum-Let the Horse be the Teacher
Parade of Breeds
Muddy Creek Vaulting
Sugarloaf Mt. Polocrosse-Exibition Match
Equi-tainment-A Musical Equine Variety Show
Craig Cameron-Developing the Brave Horse
and the last Parade of Breeds of the day.

-I bought a Handy Stick (Clinton Anderson) for only $15 and a book, "The Faraway Horses" by Buck Braumun.

-I made a new friend-Alta. I had never really known her b4 (she has boarded Jack at Sharon for at least a year) but we talked a lot on Saturday and I got her email address and phone # so hopefully we can get to be better friends!!

-Yesterday (Sunday) I worked with Flicka a teeny bit w/ the Stick. Then I tacked up Sweet Pea with the Western saddle and snaffle and had a great 45 mins, walking and jogging around the meadow. We worked on bending, straight lines, backing, and moving her shoulders over all at the walk and trot.

-I haven't decided yet about Sweet Pea's shoes. Marjorie from has been a big help, and she told her friend Dawn Willoughby about me. Dawn emailed me and she said she will bring some equipment for me and come out sometime in Feb., if I decide to pull Sweet Pea's shoes.
-But RuthAnn said her farrier might do the Wild Horse Trim, so I'm sorta waiting to hear how much Dawn would charge to come out and teach me and how much the equipment would cost, so I can compare that with RuthAnn's farrier's fees. And see what I want to do!
-Friday night we watched Princess Diaries 2 and Sound of Music. Two great movies.
-We are going riding for a couple hours tomorrow, me and Sharon and 4 other people. Sharon said we'll go until we get cold, which might be pretty soon. Tomorrows supposed to have a high or low (not sure) of 5*!!!! The coldest we had during the day so far was not lower than 20*.
-I rode up to the girls school this afternoon to give them popsicles because Kayla's b-day was Sunday. :) BRRRR.
