Am reading Lynn Palm's book "The Rider's Guide to Real Collection". In it, she talks a lot about "longeing and bitting" and how important it is to help you collect your horse. What do you think? I'd love to do it, but don't have to know-how and the equipment. That book is really helpful, and breaks it down w/ lots of excises but the whole thing of collection feels WAY about me and SP's level. I mean, sure I want her to relax, collect, respond better to the bit and my legs and seat, but is that attainable for me and her?
Just wondering a little!!
