i lived through my first week end of 12 hour night shifts! whoo whooot! glad it's over. i'm getting the hang of it. votes and hugs for monday.
i'm glad you liked the story about "snowman". tht book really touched me. he reminded me of one of my first lesson horses, "grey fox", who was a tall lumbering big headed roman nosed bag of bones that most riders dreaded at my stable. he was ridden in a double bridle and saddle seat saddle with no knee rolls for jumping. big and bouncy stride. no one could get him to canter then they couldn't get him to stop. i learned that it wasn't so much how you used the reins but how you used your seat that made him stop/go. i alwys got him easily into canter and looooved jumping him with his huge stride.
