Comment being reported:, today is AMAZING!!! Even though I was up till about midnight last night, I woke up at 7:00 because of the sun shining through my blind. Its 56*.
After the horses finished their hay, I brushed them both. Ugh, horse hair everywhere. In my mouth, on the ground and all over me. Definitely not my fav part of spring, but can't wait till the horses are SHINY!!
After I brushed them, I did "backing, Lungeing for respect, desensitizing to lead/handy stick" with Sweet Pea. She backs better then Flicka, but doesn't do lungeing for respect so good. I am just starting w/ that.
With Flicka, I did the same thing. She is one cool and calm lady when it comes to desensitizing. WOW! She hardly budges. The one thing she wasn't to sure about was yielding the forequarters. She did pretty good with yielding the hindquarters, though.
I'm so proud of both my girls :)
After we come back from some errands this afternoon, I want to go on a long ride and pony Flicka. She needs the exercise!!
Yesterday we went to watch my friend Bible Quiz. His team lost their first quiz in the playoffs, so they were out :( But I got to talk to Chris' coach and gave her my # so hopefully me and my friend can quiz w/ them.
Okay, have to go ♥
