Phoenix's full story
Phoenix was a three year old colt wild mustang colt. He was captured by the BLM in Bend, OR. His first owner bought him, and got some training on him. Sadly, the owner abandoned him in a field for 2 months with nothing to drink, nothing extra to eat and no shelter. Starved and tattered, two animal rescue sisters brought him home and got a couple hundred pounds on him. They put him up for sale. I was looking for a horse, and for a long time. Phoenix caught my eye. He was beautiful and plus, he was a mustang. Shortly after, I bought him. He was very disrespectful to me and he still is, but he has come a long way. A month of training was put on him. We have bad rides still. There is frustration and disappointment. But, there are a few good rides. Phoenix is a good horse who now has a good home.
