Hi Alyssa, I wish your Mom could come over, this is just so hard to take, I am a very bad patient. I understand what you are going thru with the jumping, Sterl May was a lovely jumper, and when I started riding Charlie, it was exactly like you and Jasper, Charlie is also tall, 16.3, he can just step over small jumps, but mostly he just charged thru them, I'm too old for that stuff and I really can't afford enough lessons to get it right, so I switched him to some dressage, seems to suit him and ME better. Talk to Susan (sing & herd) she is a lovely jumper, she is working with one right now that rushes, she has a riding school and she might be able to offer some tips. Yeah, the barn smells wonderful, I can relax a bit now, it is nice to know they will eat this winter, David and I may starve if I don't get back to work soon....just kidding, we will be OK. Today is calling for humidity like crazy, feeling like 40. I put Charlie and Sterl May out at 5AM they will want in by 10:30 or so, especially Sterly, her breathing gets bad in the heat. Have a great weekend, talk soon, Love Donna Lee
