I hope your having too much fun!!! (}---{) I had a really nice weekend! Hope you did too! I was very careful Friday evening hooking up my trailer and opening up the mangers. No snakes this time~that’s a good thing ! Up very early Saturday morning and loaded my Whiskey and headed to Mccown Valley (Lake Whitney). I stayed close to the lake as I road. It was so peaceful and beautiful. I saw every spices of dragonfly that god ever made that morning! It was amazing and I thank him for letting me experience that. I saw 3 deer, 2 jumped through the bushes and Whiskey just stopped and watched them hop away, the next one was off in the woods as we rode under the canopy of tree’s…awe so next to nature is what I love! Whiskey whinnied 1/2 of the time we rode; apparently he missed his buddy’s! Happy cowgirl here! Rinsed Whiskey down real good and was home by 12:30 again. I sprayed the other horses when I got home and turned them out for a nice afternoon of grazing. Sunday I just rode shortly around the home place…then Let the boys graze. Cliff got the #1 turn out mowed and part of #2 Thursday so it looks so much better. He will finish tonight after work and yes we let the pasture cuttings dry nearly 48 hours before turning them out. Trust me it was good n dry! This Texas heat is heck on cut pastures!
