A Belated Happy Thanksgiving!
Well, I only have one horse, and that's Pippin. But a friend has two draft horses that he likes to drive and he offered for my sister and me to ride them whenever we want. They aren't being ridden and one of them had never been ridden before. That's the one that I ride. He's a Belgian/Standardbred cross and the other is a black Percheron that's 18.2hh high. He's the biggest horse I've ever ridden. They're both really nice to ride and very powerful. We ride them once a week. Pippin's doing really well. He's well-behaved most of the time but on Sunday I let go of the cart for a few seconds to get him an apple from the tree we were passing and he decided to take off. He wasn't scared. He was just trotting down the road. I yelled at him to stop so he sped up and cantered down the road for a couple of miles. I had to jog the whole way and when I finally caught up with him he was grazing by the road with the cows staring at him. What a bad boy. I'm really going to have to keep an eye on him. I'm just happy that no cars came! Well, I hope you had a happy thanksgiving and here's a vote for you.
