Hope your hoof is better! Don't know if I will ride tonight afterall. 95°F at 6 PM and not a breeze of any kind!
HOPE THIS PIC MAKES YOU FEEL COOLER SINCE SO MANY OF US ARE IN A LOT OF HEAT§ IF IT IS NOT TOO BAD OUT I AM RIDING ANKA AT 8 PM AND WILL POST ANY PHOTOS ON Angel PF’s page. Now about the cool down ! we came back from our last run in the water and trek on the beach. The man in the photo is the veterinarian who saved Darling and brought him to the International Riding Club of Phuket. We did our last bathing and I had my bowl of fresh carrots in my other hand and he was starting with icing. The wet leg wraps (red) are on the ground in front of Darling. The vet told me I was the first person who rode there who took part in the after care of the horse, everyone else just paid up and left. I found this strange as the grooming is all about the bonding and care and trust building between rider & horse. Many of the riders were groups who just rode once and never rode the same horse so I guess they never built up or cared to any bond or after care. Well, the world is a different place, to each their own . My motto in this segment is before and after care make for a good bond (usually) for horse & rider. Not just treats! Cool down vote for you, see ya tomorrow!
