A TUESDAY VOTE§ Today we took Grant the labby boy up to the higher altitudes near our house where it is about 10 cooler, walked for an hour to the horse farm for summer riding, then to a nice cool restaurant for salad and water for the dog! We were cooled off for the day! Took some great photos of the horses, will post them tomorrow! NOW… continuing about DARLING and our adventures! He is still recuperating from a change in his meds and many of you know how long that can take. One funny story I kept in my journal was another day of when our young riding partn’s horse pooped on the beach just next to the edge of the ocean. Clean up time and bagging it and placing it high up on his saddle so it would not fall or go into the water. Well, of course we went into the ocean and the young man lost the sack of horse poop, sand coated and all! He had to swim out and get it while I stayed on Darling and held his horse on the beach. I never photographed him swimming out to retrieve the bag but it entertained not only me but the people who were still on the beach! More to come…
