Trying to keep a positive frame of mind! It is over 100°F and DRY here . I am watching over Anka til next week when I go back to the HIGH MOUNTAINS for some R&R and strenuous hiking, broken or sprained toe willing,LOL! Definitely the Dog Days of Summer here, my young 2 yr.old Labby hates going outdoors except to get soaked!
Thanks to those of you who have been supporting DARLING for his HOTM run. As Marion mentioned (Indy, Paige & Angel HT’s mom) we should send him some snow! And speaking of DARLING, all I can say he is most likely now getting a gooooood soaking and his meds. One thing his vet showed me was how he administered his meds one time. It was an injection under the skin (not muscular) and he did not even flinch, But I DID,he he! Saving a good story for the end of the run.
