Hi Cherokee, here's a vote for ya. Had a really good ride on Paige. Can't believe she's coming home tuesday. It's almost the end of the month and then it's off to 3 big horse shows! The vet clinic on stomack and hind gut ulcers in horses was great. Given by the company that makes Succeed and Dr. Alger! Learned a lot and we tested Paige, free of charge and I brought home a free of charge test kit for Indy too! Paige has a minor very small ulcer in her stomach, they are not to concerned, but to be pro-active, I'm puttin her on the Succeed for it. Since she had the ucles in Feb of this year. They said that roughly 60% to 70% of all high end show and race horses, trailering, endurance, dressage, you name it, they have uclers, weather it be of the stomach or hind gut! Anything out of the ordinary can cause ulcers. Even drastic changes in weather! Her hind gut was clean. Three others had stomach and hind gut. So I feel good about my horse. And two others had just hind gut! Two were negative all around. I'll test Indy tomorrow, cause you need fresh poop and not full of bedding or sawdust and can't be older than a couple of hours. So I'll be looking every hour on the hour for his fresh pile for testing! LOL! Learned so much, it's hard to say it all on here, but if you have a question, maybe I'll be able to answer with what I learned. Love ya, Marion and the blondies.
