Good Morning my friends, yes, I have been riding, and yes, work would probably ask questions, but I am not suppose to be lifting, pushing or pulling, I'm not... keep in mind the position your arm is in when you hold your reins, it actually makes me think about keeping my elbows back, if David tightens the girth for me, the mounting is OK, 'cause you can swing your leg up and over, I always use a mounting block anyway, so a bit of a ride, nothing crazy just some W, T, and we did a bit of canter. Charlie is very smooth and a GOOD boy. So I have the dismount down now, because I can't do the normal, swing leg and a tiny jump to the ground, the jarring is too hard on my arm, won't likely do damage unless I fell, but it hurts. So, I walk Charlie up to the block the same position as mounting, holding the pommel with my left hand, swing my right leg over the saddle and gently down onto the block, take left foot out of stirrup, woo hoo I'm off in one piece. Love that boy, quick update on my girly, NO CHANGE, one more day of bute, I wonder how long it will take to put her hay in the blender????? talk soon, Love Donna Lee
