Bad news...selling my mare due to auto accident
Hi friends at Horsechannel! Sad news...need to sell my mare because someone ran a stop sign and hit my suv so hard it hit a curb and flipped, causing much pain to my left side and totaling my blazer. Thank goodness I hit the brake and it locked in my seatbelt. Plus, it is an older suv and built like a tank. Survived the April 2011 tornadoes, but, not last week.
I'm not going to be able to ride for a long time, if ever. Have a cut to my left pinkie with numbness now, strained neck muscles, and a bunch of bruises, inflammation to my previous injuries. Found a healing or healed L1 fracture, don't know when that happened!?? But, can't take a chance on being re-injured and completely paralyzed.

Genny is so sweet and fun to be around. She watches everything, will untie herself and walk around the arena inspecting everything, lol. She lets me play with her mouth, ears, tail, feet and will rest her head against my chest while I talk and scratch under her head. Will follow me when asked, even out of the arena without me touching her. Just a gentle, devoted mare that will make a great all-around horse. She will even lower her head when you tell her to at a trot! Too funny. Gonna miss her when I sell her.

The drive to the barn is about 25 miles one way and bothers my arms and hands, too. Ugh, this is going to be rough.
