Hi Sterly, here's a vote for ya honey. Well all that he says makes a lot of sense to me. I especially agree with the water part of it. I've been doing warm water starting in Nov right thru till April. I do have one each heated water bucket in the each stall, and the other bucket I make half and half from a larger bucket that heats up in the aisle way. So they gobble it up. This all started after h.t.'s colic surgery in 2002. Dr. that operated on him told me to do this, he actually learned the words hot cocoa as I called it. I would make it for him morning and night, and after filling his buckets, the minute I said drink your hot cocoa, he would walk over and suck down 3/4 of the fresh warm water! So yes, I can see where Sterly was very happy to drink it. Plus, think about this, suppose her teeth are getting sensative to the cold, just like ours do! I know that when ice cream hits a certain tooth of mine, I'm like, holy molly that hurts, don't want to eat ice cream again! She could be like that too with her aged teeth. If you want to fill me in on the ulcers and performance horses, send me an e mail with all the info! I can't wait to hear his thoughts. Love, Marion
