Hi Freedom, here's a vote for ya. Well it's a hard day on most americans today. The anniversary of 9-11, a day that rocked the world. Of all my HC friends and family, I probably live the closest to all the terror! From my job that day, when customers came in telling us of the first plane to hit the towers, we then tuned in a radio and heard it all. Since as the crow flies, we were only about 40 miles or less from the towers, you could see the sky line all dark! Such a tragic day!

But on the bright side for today, it's my trainer Karen's daughter's 5th birthday! So something did happen good today.

Well the temps were up there, 93 with a heat index of 104 at 1 pm today. Needless to say, no one went out or got ridden! They stayed in front of double fans and me and Harley stayed for the most part in the house with the A/C blasting!

Sorry to hear of Freedoms injury, that is a tough one! Look into a feed, if she gets grain with a low % of fat content, like Triple Crown Lite. I give that to Indy, as he's a very easy keeper, he could get fat on air! It's like 12% protein, 3% fat and 15% fiber which is good. And give her the cheapist hay, filler hay we call it. I had a horse years ago do a double bow on this front, and he was inside for 5 months, he took well to it and adapted to the change in diet. Good luck.

Karen's coming up tomorrow to work with Paige and give me a lesson and lesson assigement. Can't wait! Marion and the blondies.
