Hi Kelly & BJ, I hope everything is ok your way. We miss you! *♡* Whiskey & I had a nice ride Saturday. I hauled out early to Lake Whitney. I took Rocket for Bill to ride. Plans always seem to change. He brought his wife to ride this 4 year old horse of his brothers. When I saw her with him I asked if they were riding double! He said no she was going to ride “LC”. I thought in my head “that isn’t a good idea”. She is terrified of horses and she and Bill thought that horse was clam enough for her…needless to say I had a bad feeling. He has only ridden him out there one time. We all saddled up, Bill walked over to talk to someone who was getting ready and Angie had gone to the restroom. I took Whiskey over to their truck to get ice for my saddle bags & when I came around the truck “LC” went to bucking! He bucked and bucked…they didn’t have him tied I guess, but I watched ice flying along with their drinks! I looked over at Bill walking our way & then I looked toward the restrooms and saw Angie walking that way and I said “guess we know who’s not riding today!" I offered her Whiskey to ride but she was a little shook up at that point. Bill put Rocket in one of the stalls there and I went on out and rode by myself. I don’t know what Bill was thinking but I guess it’s none of my business! Lol

I rode Deacon Sunday there at home. Just checked fence line and walked/trot & canter a little. He is a good boy even after not being ridden in a while. Love that horse! Oh ~ Bill was his trainer so I’m still scratching my head at the decision Bill made Saturday. Oh well, he did take him home and worked him in the round pen then Angie got on him after he was tired out. Glad she did so she didn’t stay scared of him. We also had our grandson Jason Saturday night-as always it was comical!! Quick whinny & a click on your horseshoe!
