Hi Paula
Finished processing the apples and yes Misty had plenty of them to eat with her friends.I think if she didn't then I would have found her in my kitchen helping herself.I put a bushel of apples away for them to enjoy.
We are supposed to get rain and thunderstorms later today,so I'm taking Misty out for a quick ride then its house work(for me not Misty) can't you just see Misty with a broom in her mouth sweeping the floors.I did have a Chihuahua, years ago that could make the bed.She would take the sheet in her mouth and pull it up then each of the blankets in turn. She was very clever, that was my little Bubbles.Bubbles got very ill and I sent her to the biggest veterinary hospital in Canada. It was Christmas(her birthday was boxing day)she was away for 3 weeks, they sent her home and she died 2 days before her 2nd birthday. It cost $17,000 and to this day no-one can tell me what she died of.I think vets should be like doctors and be held accountable for thier actions and treatments, although the human doctors where I live aren't very good either.Anyway enough of the sad stuff.I'm going to the local auction barn/farmers market tomorrow to try and buy some new laying hens.No I don't kill and eat the old ones, they just stay around and live out thier lives. It has nothing to do with horses but in October I'm going to blog a true ghost story about what happened to me when I first moved into my house 15 years ago...Oooooh spooky
Take care and God bless...Love Celeste
