i'm at working doing my double shift. i made an appt for sing to see the vet tomorrow morning at 0900. her mucus isn't improving. not looking forward to loading her. she generally pulls away and runs. i find if i use the bridle headstall i can hang on sometimes. haven't hauled her for a few years so we'll see if she does better. i've done trailer loading training for many hours. went to clinics on loading by john lyons and chris cox. put a trailer in the round pen and spent 15 hours over 2 days working on it. she never went in willingly. she'll just run and run, never wanted to rest in or near the trailer. she had one bad experience catching her halter in the D-ring when she put her head out the trailer window to look, got caught and paniced. i was able to disengage her without a wreck happening but she never loaded easily again after that. :(
