How are you all doing? It's the end of another long day. Any of you worked with fibreglass insulation? That's what I worked with all day. Awful stuff!
Horses are very gregarious creatures. They don't care about differences in size, colour, or even gender (except perhaps between stallions). Personality is what it's all about.
Before we got Eddie, neither we nor his previous owners had ever heard him make a sound. Not even a whisper of a nicker.
We would sometimes take Prince out and Eddie would be left behind. Not a sound.
Well, the day Eddie arrived here, he and Pippin started talking and kept babbling to each other for a week. They were saying some pretty nasty things to each other which I cannot repeat.
After things calmed down they would occasionally nicker. Pippin is quite vocal so most of the later talking was instigated by him. Now, whenever Pippin is brought back from grazing, Eddie will come over to the gate with a low, sweet nicker to say hello to his tiny friend.
Whenever Pippin goes out for a drive without Eddie, Eddie will stand in his pen and neigh mournfully. They are best buddies!
Here's a video of Eddie and Prince being buddies.
