I'm doing great, I hope you are doing very well!!!

☆ Please pray for Cassie as she laid to rest her loving partner of 2 1/2 years-beautiful Freedom's SKYE crossed the Rainbow Bridge.....she will be greatly missed!! ♥ (see a collage I made in honor of her at the bottom of SP's page)

I went to the cabin this weekend with my church youth group, about 30 people. We left Friday evening and came home Sunday afternoon. It was soo beautiful in the mountains, the leaves were all colors....it was so much fun playing games and being w/ my friends!! :)

I rode Sweet Pea yesterday, on an hour long trail ride. She was (mostly) fantastic! On one field lane we practiced rollbacks. She was AWESOME!! When we would turn toward home, I would simply hold the reins in one hand, very loose, not touching her neck or pulling back at all, and after she got into a gallop, I sat back and shifted my weight to the one side and she stopped short and SPUN around and took off galloping in the other direction, w/o me touching the reins or even using my legs!! She was gr8!!!

And she stops like a charm at any gait, w/o voice commands/reins, when I sit deep in the saddle and lean back slightly. I love her!! <3 She's doing so good lately!!! :):)

The other day I gave Lilly a jumping lesson on SP, then we rode up to her place (she lives about 2 miles from my place) and up there, I switched saddles and rode SP and ponied Flicka up past a friend's house. SP was used 4 hours in all, Flicka only 3 1/2. We did a nice mix of cantering and running. Mostly it was a nice relaxing ride.

Ω Update on Flicka's lump-we are just keeping an eye on it. I run my hand over it every day and compare its size. It is not changing size, so as of now, we are not planning to take X-rays.

I love you all!!! Happy Trails!!
♥ Andrea n Herd ☆
