and I hope Celete's butt is not hurting too much! Yep, cats & dogs can be tougher than the most rowdy horses at times! Rode (until the saddle slid, swear it is a curse) on Alliance at a walk this AM before picking up our friend at the high speed train station. Alliance has not been hand walked or ridden by her owner(s) for over 2 months! I wore a protection vest for the first time in my life (she is not fully trained as claimed) but she trusts me and stood still for bridling (no bitlesss after I found out no one has had her out for so long!), her ankle protections and my English saddle which just kept slipping no matter how tight we got it with the shock pad and saddle pad under it. She spooked one at a car and reared up a little in a grassy field but calmed down immediately.Never experienced it before, was glad she did not take off! It was qctually kind of funny. After that, the saddle slid all over, tried to eadjust and get up onh her from a stone but the saddle just slid so we walked home and got untacked. Posted a photo of after on PF's page. She just needs work and I told her owner he needs to ride HER, not club horses or perhaps he should take her to the club and work her with a trainer for a couple of months. She could turn out to be a perfect French trotter, she is TALL over 16.2 HH at 3 years. DO NOT FALL DOWN ON ANYTHING and I look forward to your Halloween spooky stuff:-)
