Hi Angel Ginger and India, here's a vote for ya. Yes, it is so hard on us. But you did do everything you could that last year, and it just wasn't meant to be. The Lord had other plans for Ginger. I hope that over time, you'll be able to write her story for all of us to read. I would love to read it!
Okay 31 degrees with frost on the roofs and the lawn is not fun! High today of only 48 and overcast, so it felt really cold. Had a nice training session on Paige. Was starting to work on sidepassing over a pole, don't ya know, she steps on the inside of her right front heel of the shoe and springs it pretty good. Of course my farrier and his back up farrier are both out at the All American Quarter Horse Congress in Columbus Ohio! Made a bunch of calls, have a farrier coming tomorrow at 1:30 to pull it and reset it. She has a Cobella's boot on covering the shoe so she don't rip it off all the way. It's not as bad as last time, but it's bad enough! Well I went and looked at a 2.5 year old cat, he's very handsome, gray and white tux! Names Mo, I'm filling out the paper work and go to pick him up monday and bring him to the farm. New barn kitty! Older than I wanted, but hey, he needs a good home! He'll have it. Marion and the blondies.
