Hey everybody!! Hope your week has been wonderful so far!!
Ω Wednesday was a very busy, horse filled day!! At 9, I rode Sweet Pea and ponied Flicka over to Sharon to ride some of her new horses.
♥ First, I rode Sushi, a brown paint pony. He has a family that is going to buy him, but they don't know anything about horses, and so Sharon's giving him a few weeks of training. He was in his lower teens. He jigged like crazy on the way home, and held terrible hard, with the hackamore. I was getting fed up, and so went to spin him in a couple circles to get his attention on me.

Suddenly, I was spinning around so fast I almost fell off! He suddenly went into the most awesome reining horse spin!!!! I was so shocked, I just held on and Sharon laughed and laughed. I finally got him to stop. A couple more times on the trail I tried it, and he did a perfect spin every time. It was the coolest thing ever! I always wondered how it would feel to ride a spin like that! :) It's neat, riding a new horse and discovering something like that completely by mistake!!

☆ Then I rode Champion, a 3 year old buckskin. This was his 6 or 7th ride. Before I mounted, I moved his hindquarters, desensitized him a little and spent a couple mins of Flexing with the snaffle.
we ate lunch...
-Then we headed out again, this time I rode Riley, a 6 year old gray paint mare. This was her second ride. She was super pushy on the ground too! Just when I was ready to unsaddle, Lilly (one of my students) came. I had told her mom to drop her off at Sharon's house.
-So we tacked up Sweet pea and Flicka and went on an hour and a half trail ride.

-About an hour after I got home, I saddled up Sweet Pea again and rode for an hour with my guy friend and his little brother Trevor. :)

So there was my Wednesday!! :) I rode 5 horses! And I loved every minute!! I love riding new horses!!
-Today, I worked until 4.....and when I got home, I watched and told the girls what to do as they saddled up SweetPea and Flicka. ☆ I gave half of Flicka's ownership to my little sister, Heidi (13). I am going to teach her to do the groundwork w/ her, too.
So Kayla rode SP w/ the English and Heidi rode Flicka w/ the Western, in the meadow, and I coached!! Heidi just got more comfortable with Flicka, w/t/c, and Kayla was just having fun w/ SP, I was getting her to do what I do, finger the reins to get SP to drop her head, and also to use her legs to turn. They both did really well!!

So there's two busy days!! :)Love u all and have a wonderful Friday!!!!
