Here's a vote from Buddy! Just a quick question for anyone who blankets their horses in the winter. Since this is Buddy's first winter with me and back in Alberta since he was a baby, I plan on blanketing him, and I was wondering what the ideal temperature to blanket him would be? Keeping in mind I know there will be days that will be warmer than others and I will have to check on his blanket everyday to make sure its not causing him any problems (it should also help him get used to standing still for blanketing.) Thanks for any replies!

He does seem to be settling in nicely, he doesn't have too much of a problem with being in the barn if he has one of his friends with him. When he is in there by himself he gets a little nervous but he hasn't had a major freak out in there yet! In other news, I had a lazy two days off. I almost feel bad because I didn't do anything with Buddy like I wanted. But the barn seemed to be a little busy earlier, so maybe after work on Sunday as there are no lessons that day and not many people seem to come to the barn.
