Hi Jack, here's a vote for ya. Yep, that weather is leaving you and headed over our way. Thanks for sending it! LOL! The babies didn't seem to mind being away from the moms at all. That's really good, then when it's weaning time, they could be buddies and not miss the ladies at all. We used to wean anywhere for 4 to 6 months of age. Depending on when the futurities were. Although, my colt that I lost at 11 months, we took him to the futerity with his momma standing outside the show pen. He was only 3.5 months old and one out of 9 colts. Another cold cold day. Only 15 when I went to feed, did make it to about 31 and that's when I went to lungeing Paige and doing showmanship. Indoor was at about 40 degrees, so it wasn't all that bad. Then Indy and I played, he's such a mamma's boy. Then it was Bullseye turn, he's another one that won't leave my side! LOL! The rest of the day was in the house keeping the wood burner well stoked! Love ya, Marion and the blondies.
